Storie

Storie is the writer for the Birds of Wisdom. From song lyrics to press releases, she has a way with words

— and usually knows exactly which ones are needed.

She went to school with Wren, one of the band's singers, but after Storie moved away, the two lost touch. Years later, chance brought them back together at a San Francisco gig, just when the Birds were looking for help with some new song lyrics. Storie happily stepped in, and the rest, as they say, is history.

The band members love making her laugh because Storie has what they call "a laugh that makes the whole world want to sing." Fortunately, she's easily amused and will laugh at even the silliest joke.

When she isn't writing or laughing, Storie is renovating an old cottage on the north side of town.

Apparently, she's very handy with power tools.

Word of Wisdom

"Say what you mean, build what you love, and leave room for laughter."
