Sis

Sis is the baker and chef for the Birds of Wisdom, which makes her—perhaps unsurprisingly—one of the most popular birds in the flock.

She keeps everyone well fed, and the band has learned that almost any problem feels a little more manageable after spending some time in Sis's kitchen.

She has a particular gift for chocolate chip cookies, french fries, and perfectly crispy seasoned tofu. They aren't necessarily things you would plan to eat together, but somehow, when Sis is cooking, you find yourself wanting all three.

Her oatmeal is phenomenal too.

Sis's favorite ingredient, however, may be wine.

Not always in the recipe, necessarily.

Sometimes it's simply an important part of the cooking process.

And the meal.

When Sis isn't listening to the Birds of Wisdom, she's usually playing David Bowie. She has a painting of him hanging in her kitchen and considers appreciation of Bowie to be less of a musical preference and more of a basic life skill.

Around Sis, good food, good wine, good music and good company tend to show up together.

Nobody complains.
